How to attach an images in new posts for new users?

Hello!
It looks like newly registered users do not have enough "rights/skills" or whatever else preventing them from inserting an images in new posts. Every time I try to insert the pic and preview the post I've got the "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image" red error message. The only thing works for me is to insert the existing pic from this board - this time preview works ok, but I can't insert the pics via IMG tag from any other sources. I've searched trough the faq topics and did not find any solution.

Hey there.
It's kinda complicated. A relict from when this forum was established and there was no space to keep the images in the database, and when the site http://papirove-modely.cz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; looked like a miracle
The problem with linking images from other external sites is mainly in http:// and https:// difference. This forum (http:// only) can not handle images linked with https:// in address. Try removing the "s" in linked image address, it might work.

I'll try to remove this "ss" form the addresses! Btw is there a way to automatically resize the pics if they exceed the limits? Find a server allowing me to return the address from http, but the pics stored there are too big. What are the recommended sources to store the user pics?

Upload to MS OneDrive and "embed" from the top menu works fine for me!
Do not forget about the image size!
